To all whom remember the real Chicago nightlife in

Wed Aug 24, 2005, 5:03 AM
Just a thought:

The party scene did not die,
but was not only abused and had been taken for granted.
These are the days of the new.
The partyE kids of yester year that have thought to gone and dead,
have meerly evolved into being the potential party parents of today.
The days where the focuses on one's career and future go hand and hand,
only to become nostalgic of moments seeming so long ago.
And buried beneath still lies the pure entity of the notcurnal,
seeking to escape all of the world's social negativity from its complexity.
A resurgence of purity and innocence lost,
has taken hold and embodies today's aging soul.
Empowering the child within finding peace-unity-love-respect,
within all whom dare to venture into the night once again.

With the world and how it is today, we tend to forget about the past and how simple things could be. Also if you're like me, there are just times where you miss the past only because you've become too caught up with stresses from the now and just forgotten what it is like to look around once in a while. The '90 rave scene was an unforgettable experience for me which only began as my own personal escape from everything around me at that time. It had also evovled into being an experience which has forever impacted me and aided me with finding my identity and who I am. The scene to me also blossomed from being my sole journey into being a journey of many as from party to party lives just intersected and gravitated towards eachother becoming ultimately as simply stated, "Good times.... Good times..."
